DR. R. B. AHUJA was appointed on the Editorial Advisory Board of “BURNS” is the official journal of International Society for Burn Injuries. He was also appointed on Advisory Board of Journal of Plastic Surgery, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, formerly called the British Journal of Plastic Surgery. He was also appointed as President of 7th Asia Pacific Burn Congress. He was also appointed as Chairperson of the 15th World Congress of International Society for Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS). DR. PARVEZ SHEIKH has been elected as the President of “The Association of Colon & Rectal Surgeons of India”. He was also nominated as Vice President (Western Asia) of “International Society of University of Colon & Rectal Surgeons”. He was awarded “Dr. R. K. Menda Oration” at the 10th Congress of the Asia Pacific Congress of Coloproctology was held at Tokyo in September 2007 DR. H. G. DOCTOR was nominated as Founder President of Hernia Society of India, a National Chapter of Asia Pacific Hernia Society during its 2nd International Conference at New Delhi on October 2006. Dr. Doctor is the Past President & Trustee of our section & had delivered 30th Prestigious Dr. R. G. Ginde Memorial oration on “Evolution of Surgical Treatment for Abdominal Wall Hernias”. He is also a Honorary Fellow of our College & was a member of International Executive Council for many years. DR. P. N. JOSHI delivered the prestigious Dr. G. M. Phadke Oration at MASICON 2008 at Kolhapur. The conference of Maharashtra State Chapter of the Association of Surgeons of India. DR. P. D. AZGAONKAR from Goa has been appointed as “HONORARY CONSULTANT” to Armed Forces Medical Services by Ministry of Defence, Government of India.
